I agree with this quote. I believe that it means never to second guess yourself, your first instink is the best decision, after that you have over thought the situation and you new decision is not the right one, but is still better than nothing because any thing you give effort to will be better than doing nothing.

Gun control is a huge controversy in America, that they believe will be the answer to end mass shooting and criminal activity.

Gun control is talked up to be more than i believe it will actually be, it is believed by most to help decrease criminal activity in America, Or it could completely end all criminal activity

1) What makes your research topic "debatable" .. What arguments would someone who opposed your point of view make? They could say that if there was more gun control less people would have guns, so it would decrease the chances for these crazy people to get there hands on one.


2) What obstacles do you foresee yourself encountering during this process and how will you seek to resolve them? Some of the obstacles in my path during this process is to not let my anger and irritation to this particular subject.


3) What have you learned so far about your topic? That in 80 percent of all mass killing the gun that is used by the criminal is an illegal gun that is not in their name.

Pre-Writing 

I feel that adding more gun control will do nothing in the since of decreasing the number of tragic shooting that occur. 

I do not believe that more advanced gun control would stop any of the action, only because most of these people who commit the vicious crimes do not even use a gun the they legally own, for example the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting where on December 14, 2012 in Newtown , Connecticut. 20 children and 6 staff members where shot by Adam Lanza, who took  his mothers gun shot her and then went and commited another crime with a gun he did not own so a gun control law wouldn't have stopped him nor his action with a gun which was not in his name.

I believe with gun further gun control nothing will come of it except the fact of making it a more time consuming process for those legally buying a gun for there own defense. I feel this way because a gun will kill no one with out a shooter and someone who is crazy like Adam Lanza can kill someone with a home made pipe bomb or with a kitchen knife or anything even pick up a hot gun off the street witch is what most criminals kill these people with anyway and gun control will not stop the buying, selling, or usage of illegal weapons buying house products for explosives or the retail of kitchen knifes

My favorite thing that comes from research is that I can get more facts and information than I knew before.

 

My least favorite part of doing research assignments is how many different steps there are to it.
